Linku is a service in which people who know each other form groups or connect as connections, see each other's spots (places they often spend time) on a map, and arrange meetups in person. Current location is shared only during a confirmed meetup when participants have agreed to share it with each other, and a location a user sends directly to a chat room is visible to the people in that room for 24 hours.
Main features: creating groups and inviting members, and group photos; deleting a group in which only the admin is left; connecting without a group by accepting a connection request received through your connection link (a one-time connection invite link already sent can be used until it expires), and connection labels only you can see; seeing members, connections, and their spots on the map; one-to-one and group chat (including replies and reactions); meetup proposals and scheduling; group notices, polls, and history; sub-title labels and subgroups within a group (such as regions, teams, or departments) and subgroup chat; group dues charges, payment confirmation, and a ledger (income and expenses and receipt photos, managed by group officers; receipt photos are sent to an external AI service only if an officer turns on automatic receipt reading); achievement badges; a profile card (bio, photo album, contact details) and sharing a card link; and seeing products listed by members of the same group and connections and presenting your own products (transactions and payments take place between users outside the Service).
The product feature is offered on devices used in the Republic of Korea. If your device is judged to be outside the Republic of Korea from its language, region, and time zone, you cannot browse products or list new ones (you can still edit or delete products you already listed, and product cards already received in a conversation stay there).
The Service is free.
You sign up by signing in with a Kakao, Apple, or Google account and then registering your name, date of birth, and industry.
Anyone under the age of 14 (만 14세) may not sign up. Age is checked from the date of birth; if a person is found to be under 14, sign-up stops and any account created up to that point is deleted.
An account may be used only by its owner and may not be transferred or lent to anyone else.
You must not do any of the following.
1. Stealing another person's information or registering false information
2. Spreading or using another user's location or spot information against that person's wishes
3. Sending content that harasses or offends other users
4. Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
5. Acts contrary to law or to public order and good morals (공서양속)
Users may report chat messages, users, and products, and may block other users. When you block someone, that person's messages, reactions, and location are not shown to you, connection requests are not delivered between the two of you, and neither of you can see the other's products (product cards already sent in chat stay in that conversation).
A product is hidden automatically, even before the Company reviews it, once three different users have reported it. The Company reviews a reported product within two business days and either hides it (or keeps it hidden) or makes it visible again; after a product is made visible again, only reports received after that are counted. While a product is hidden, the seller can edit it but cannot delete it (it is deleted along with the account if the seller deletes their account). The seller is notified when a product is hidden or made visible again (this can be turned off in notification settings). A product a user has reported immediately stops being shown on that user's device.
If the Company finds, on reviewing a report or otherwise, a post or product that violates the law or these Terms, it may issue a warning, hide a chat message, hide a product, or suspend use for 7 days, suspend use for 30 days, or suspend use permanently, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation. Serious violations such as fraud or trading illegal goods may result in immediate permanent suspension without a warning, and where harm to other users is expected, the Company may hide content before completing its review. Warnings and suspensions are notified immediately by in-app notification and the reasons are shown in the app, and a warning is shown each time the app is opened until the user acknowledges it. The seller is notified when a product is hidden. Warnings and suspensions received and their reasons can be viewed again under "My inquiries" in the app (except warnings the Company has lifted).
While use is suspended, opening the app shows only the suspension notice, and the user can only file an appeal, view replies to inquiries and warnings and suspensions received, sign out, and delete their account. A suspended user's products, card link, connection invite links, and connection link are not visible to others (connection requests sent by a suspended user are also not shown during the suspension), location sharing for meetups is turned off, and the saved current location is deleted (location sharing is not turned back on when the suspension ends). During a suspension, no notifications are sent other than operational notices. For a fixed-term suspension, the end time is shown on the suspension notice screen, and the Company gives notice if it lifts a suspension.
Users may appeal an action through "Contact us" in the app (during a suspension, "Appeal" on the suspension notice screen) or at contact@sikorea.it. The Company reviews the appeal within two business days and replies under "My inquiries" in the app (or by email for an appeal received by email).
A user who has received a permanent suspension may not sign up again with the same sign-in account (the same Kakao, Apple, or Google account) for three years from the day they deleted their account. For this purpose, the Company keeps a value made by converting that sign-in account's identifier with a secret key only the Company holds (it cannot be converted back to the original, and it is used only to check whether an account is the same) (Privacy Policy, Section 2).
Spots are visible to members of the same group and to connections. Current location is normally not visible to anyone. It is visible only when participants in a confirmed meetup have each turned on sharing, from one hour before the meetup starts until it ends (if there is no end time, until three hours after the start; if all participants confirm the meetup, until then), and only among participants who have turned on sharing and who are in the same group or are connections. A location a user sends directly to a chat room is visible to the participants in that chat room and disappears after 24 hours. It is not disclosed to strangers.
A connection is formed when a person who received someone's connection link sends a connection request and the link owner accepts it, and either person can remove it at any time. Your connections cannot see each other unless they are connections of each other or in the same group. Each person has one connection link, which may be sent to many people; anyone who has the link can send a connection request, but you become connections only when the link owner accepts it. If the link has spread somewhere you did not intend, you can change it to a new address to block the old link (requests already received stay). Connection requests are not delivered between people who have blocked each other. One-time connection invite links can no longer be created; a link already sent can be used only once and expires after 7 days (until then, the person who received it becomes a connection by accepting it), and anyone who has the link can accept it first. If you remove a connection or leave a group so that you can no longer see each other, one-to-one chat history remains, but you cannot send new messages or continue meetups, and location sharing for the meetup also closes.
Each time you register a spot you can choose to make it public or private (public by default), and you can change this at any time afterwards. Private spots do not appear on the maps of other members or connections.
Location sharing for a meetup can be turned off at any time, a location sent to a chat room can be deleted by long-pressing it, and turning off the device's location permission stops collection of your current location. Further details on location information are governed by the Location-Based Services Terms.
Rights in the chats, notices, history entries, photos, and other material a user posts belong to the person who posted them.
The Company uses them only to the extent of showing them to members and connections of the relevant group or to conversation partners, compiling Service usage statistics, handling reports and inquiries under Article 6, and responding to requests under the law. Posts in a group deleted by its admin are kept for the period in Article 10 to handle disputes and reports and to respond to requests under the law. The profile card (bio, website, photo album) is also shown to anyone who has the card link. Products are governed by Article 8-2.
Chat messages and products that violate the law or Article 5 may be hidden following a report, and other posts are dealt with under Article 6. A message the Company hides appears in the app as "This message was hidden by an admin.", and the original is kept, not deleted, in preparation for dispute handling and lawful requests from investigative agencies (the coordinates of a location sent to a chat room are deleted after 24 hours even if hidden).
1. A user may list up to 6 products on their profile (up to 3 photos per product) to present them to members of the same group and connections. Products do not appear on the card link.
2. The Company acts as a mail-order sales intermediary (통신판매중개자) and is not a party to product transactions. The Service provides only product listings and inquiry conversations. Sellers are responsible for product information, and payment, delivery, exchange, and refund are decided directly between seller and buyer, who bear responsibility for them. Before sending money in advance, be sure to check with the seller, and where possible use an external escrow service (에스크로) that holds the payment with a third party (the Service has no payment feature).
3. Business sellers must register their business name, representative's name, place of business, phone number, email, business registration number, and mail-order business report number (where applicable). The Company checks whether the business registration number, representative's name, and opening date match National Tax Service (국세청) records and whether the business is active (계속사업자), using the National Tax Service business registration verification (사업자등록 진위확인) (and rechecks monthly while the seller has products), and shows this information, except the opening date, to buyers on the product screen. If the information does not match or the business is found to be suspended or closed, the seller cannot list new products as a business. If a dispute mediation body or a court so requests, the Company provides this information, that seller's current products, and the entire one-to-one conversation between the two parties.
4. Individual sellers confirm a mobile phone number by text message when listing a product for the first time. The Company keeps this number and the sign-in email confirmed by the sign-in service (Kakao, Apple, or Google) as seller verification information (accounts without a confirmed email cannot complete individual seller verification), and does not show them to other users. The same mobile phone number can be used for only one seller account, and a number used by an account that was permanently suspended and then deleted cannot be used while the seller verification information is kept. If a transaction dispute arises and a consumer dispute mediation body or a court so requests, the Company provides this information, that seller's current products, and the entire one-to-one conversation between the two parties under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률).
5. Sellers must state product information truthfully and indicate whether they are a business or an individual. Food may be listed only by sellers who have filed a business report for food (영업신고). Repeatedly selling the same goods may make a seller subject to business registration. Do not write bank account numbers in product descriptions.
6. The following may not be listed.
· Items whose trade is prohibited by law: narcotics, obscene materials, firearms, swords, and explosives, stolen goods, electrical and household products without safety certification marks, unlicensed or hazardous food, unlicensed or hazardous cosmetics and cosmetic samples, military and police supplies, blood donation certificates, and government-supported gift certificates and vouchers (such as local gift certificates, 지역사랑상품권)
· Items that may not be sold online: alcohol, tobacco and e-cigarettes, medicines, medical devices, contact lenses and prescription glasses, and health functional foods (건강기능식품) without the required report
· Items that infringe others' rights: counterfeits and fakes, and illegal copies
· Operating standards: living animals (including adoption), scalped tickets, quasi-medical procedures (such as semi-permanent makeup and tattooing), converting gift certificates to cash, and digital goods (such as accounts and coupons)
· Any other goods and services whose trade is prohibited or restricted by law
Violations may result in hiding or restrictions on use under Article 6.
The Company may change the Service or suspend part of it, and gives notice in the app 7 days in advance of Service changes that significantly affect users (30 days in advance of material changes).
For regular maintenance, outages, and other unavoidable cases, notice may be given afterwards.
Users may delete their account from the profile screen at any time.
When you delete your account, your name (except the name kept in dues records below), profile photo, date of birth, card information (phone number, email, website, bio, profile photo album), spots, current location, personal events, poll history, group event responses, badges, connections, connection labels, connection invite links you created, your connection link and the connection requests you sent and received, products you listed (including photos), usage records, and inquiries you sent (questions, feature suggestions, and appeals) and their replies are deleted, and you leave all groups. The card link stops opening.
However, conversations and the reactions left in them stay because they are also the other person's record, and the sender and the person who left a reaction are shown as "Deleted user". A group photo you set as an admin also stays because it belongs to that group. A group's dues charges and payment records and its ledger (income and expenses and receipt photos) stay as the group's accounting records. So that the source of money paid is known, dues records keep the name of a person who deleted their account, including unpaid and exempt records (other personal information is deleted), and an officer who made ledger entries is shown as "Deleted user". Leaving a group alone also leaves these as that group's records. Seller verification information (3 years from the day the last product was deleted), restriction records (3 years after account deletion), and sign-up block information (only after a permanent suspension, 3 years after account deletion) also stay. See Section 2 of the Privacy Policy for details.
If you are an admin of a group, you can delete your account after handing the admin role to another member (for a group with no members other than you, you can delete your account after deleting that group). This prevents groups from being left with no one able to manage them.
A group admin can delete a group that has no members other than the admin. A deleted group is no longer visible in the app and cannot be reopened or joined, and its conversations (including subgroup conversations), notices, polls, events, history, dues and ledger records, and photos are kept for 3 years from the day of deletion to prepare for disputes, reports, and requests under the law, and then deleted (where an investigative agency has requested preservation, after that period ends). While they are kept, the Company's operators can view them (Privacy Policy, Section 2).
The Service is a tool that helps users meet, and the Company is not liable for anything arising from meetups or transactions between users unless the Company acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
The same applies if the Company cannot provide the Service for reasons beyond its control, such as natural disasters or communication failures.
If a user suffers damage through the Company's intent or gross negligence, the Company will compensate it in accordance with the relevant laws.
When changing these Terms, the Company gives notice in the app of what is changing and the effective date from 7 days before the effective date, and from 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users, with a separate notification as well. From the effective date, you must agree to the changes to keep using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. However, this does not take away any protection given to consumers by the mandatory law of the country where you live.
If a dispute arises, the parties first discuss it at contact@sikorea.it; if it is not resolved, it is handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act (민사소송법). If you live outside the Republic of Korea, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country where its law allows.
Product transaction disputes can be submitted through "Contact us" in the app. The Company helps the parties resolve them and directs users to dispute mediation bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency (한국소비자원).
The English versions of these Terms and the Privacy Policy are translations provided for your convenience. If they differ in meaning, the Korean version prevails, unless the law of the country where you live requires otherwise.
These Terms take effect on November 16, 2026.
