Introduction

SIKOREA (주식회사 에스아이코리아, the "Company") provides the Linku service and processes users' personal information as follows under the Personal Information Protection Act (개인정보 보호법).

1. Personal Information We Process and Why

Sign-up and member identification: the identifier of your Kakao, Apple, or Google account, name, date of birth (to confirm you are at least 14), and industry. If you sign up with a Kakao account, your Kakao account email. If you sign up with an Apple account, the name Apple provides (once, at first sign-in) and email (a relay address if you choose to hide it). If you sign up with a Google account, the name, email, and profile photo address Google provides.

Map and meetup features: current location (latitude and longitude, saved only while location sharing is on for a meetup), a location sent directly to a chat room (latitude, longitude, and address, saved for 24 hours), meetup location sharing settings, spot name, address, coordinates, description, and public or private status (to announce in group chat rooms that a public spot was newly made public or moved, the coordinates and time of the spot as last announced are kept with it), profile photo, map pin color, personal events, and meetup proposal and confirmation records.

Profile card: phone number, email, website, and bio (up to 80 characters) entered by the user, profile photo album (up to 9 photos), whether the phone number and email are public, and the card link address (random characters).

Product listings: the name, price, shopping category, whether used, seller type (business or individual), confirmation of a food business report, description, sale status, photos (up to 3), listing order, and listing and edit times of products a user lists. Product inquiries take place in one-to-one chat, and when an inquiry is started and the first message is sent, that product's name, price, and first photo (shown while the product is visible) stay in the conversation as a product card.

Seller verification information: for business sellers, business name, representative's name, place of business, opening date, phone number, email, business registration number, mail-order business report number, and the National Tax Service verification result (whether it matches, active, suspended, or closed status, and the time checked); for individual sellers, the mobile phone number confirmed by text message and the time confirmed, and a copy of the sign-in email. This is used to verify sellers and to provide information to buyers, dispute mediation bodies, and courts under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률). The mobile phone number is also used to check that multiple seller accounts are not created with the same number. To verify a business, the business registration number, representative's name, and opening date are sent to the National Tax Service business registration verification service on the Public Data Portal (공공데이터포털). A mobile phone number entered during verification is deleted within two days after the verification code ends.

Conversations and group activity: chat content (text and photos, including subgroup chat, and for a reply, which message it replies to); reactions left on chat messages (who reacted to which message with what, and when); notices, polls, history, and positions; group photos (the photo uploaded by a group admin and who set it); where a group was deleted, who deleted it and when; sub-titles within a group (the label assigned to that person from those the group admin created) and membership of subgroups (smaller units a group creates, such as regions, teams, or departments) and whether the person is a subgroup leader; group events and event responses (going, maybe, can't go); group dues charges and each member's payment status (unpaid, confirmed, exempt, and so on, entered by group officers and recorded with who confirmed and when) and payment instructions; the group ledger (income and expense entries, categories, memos, dates, and receipt photos entered by officers, who entered, canceled, or edited them and when, and, where a dues payment was also entered in the ledger when confirmed, the charge title and payer's name in that entry's memo; where automatic receipt reading is used, the values read from the photo only fill the input fields and are not stored separately); achievement badges; and inquiry and report content (for product reports, the reason and a copy of the product's name, price, and the opening part of its description at the time of the report).

Connections: connection relationships (who connected with whom, when, and who invited whom; if connected through a connection request, the link owner), connection links (the link address, when created, and when changed), connection requests (sender, recipient, the short note the sender added (up to 60 characters, optional), pending, accepted, or declined status, and when sent and when answered), connection invite links (the earlier one-time links: who created them, when created, when they expire, and who accepted), and connection labels a user creates (label names and the connections placed in them, visible only to their creator).

Usage records: the days you opened the app (once a day), records of viewing another user's product details, records of tapping another user's profile website, and records of changing your product to sold out (once a day for the same target). Only the user identifier, type, target, and date and time are kept, and they are used to understand and improve Service use. For a card link being opened, only which card was opened and when is kept, and information about the person who opened it (IP address, device information, and so on) is not kept in this record. Usage records are not visible to other users.

Notifications: the device token for receiving push notifications, and the language for notifications and server messages (app language setting).

Connection information: the IP address and device information of sign-in sessions (recorded automatically when sign-in is processed).

Invite handoff: when a person without the app installs it from a group invite or connection invite link, the newly installed app looks for the invite address only once on this device, so that after sign-up it can take them straight to that invite. This check also runs once after anyone newly installs the app and finishes signing up, even without an invite link, and on Android it does not ask first. On Android, it first reads the invite marker Google Play passes on as the install referrer (a group identifier and invite token, or a connection invite token or connection link address), and if there is none, it reads from the clipboard the invite address copied to the device when a button was tapped on the invite page. On iPhone, the app asks first before reading the clipboard. Anything that is not a Linku invite address is not used, stored or sent, and an invite that is found only takes you to the same invite screen as opening the invite link directly; it never joins without asking.

Handling reports and inquiries and restrictions on use: to the extent needed to handle reports and inquiries, the Company's operators view the reported message and the 10 messages before it and 10 messages after it in the same chat room (up to the time of the report) (including photos; locations without coordinates), the names of the sender and reporter, reported products, inquiry content and the sign-in email for replying, seller verification information (business identity information and the last four digits of an individual seller's verified number), restriction and preservation records, and records of groups deleted by their admin (group name, description, date created, date deleted and who deleted it; conversations and senders' names (including subgroup conversations; photos only as their type, locations without coordinates, and hidden messages in the original); notices; event titles, times, and places; history titles and dates; and dues charge titles, amounts, and whether canceled), and handle the materials when producing them for the requests in Section 4. Each time an operator views information in the admin website, the Company records who viewed whose what, when, and from where (IP address) (Section 8).

Review of inquiries and feature suggestions: each week the Company reads the inquiries and feature suggestions received with an AI tool (Claude by Anthropic, PBC) to produce grouped summaries and improvement recommendations. Names, contact details, and other information that identifies a person are not carried into the summaries (Section 5).

The app does not use advertising identifiers, external analytics tools, or cookies (the Company counts usage itself through the usage records above), and does not process unique identification information (such as resident registration numbers, 고유식별정보). The Company does not set sensitive information (민감정보) such as religion or health as an item to collect. However, such facts may appear in content users write themselves, such as group names, sub-title labels, subgroup names, and conversations; the Company does not classify that content separately and does not use it for purposes other than providing the Service and the processing described in this Policy (handling reports, lawful requests from investigative agencies, and so on). Such content is visible to the people described in Section 3, and a group name may also be visible to people who have an invite link or a card link (the names of the groups you belong to), so please think before writing it.

2. Retention and Destruction

Information is kept while you are a member and destroyed without delay when you delete your account.

Connection invite links (the earlier one-time links): records of accepted invites (who created them, who accepted, and when) are kept until account deletion as records of connection relationships (they stay even if the connection is removed), and links that expired unused are deleted 30 days after expiry.

Connection links and connection requests: your connection link is kept while you are a member, and when you change it to a new address, the old address is not kept. A connection request (including its note) is deleted as soon as it is accepted or declined, and an unanswered request is deleted 30 days after it was sent.

Group photos: when a group admin changes or removes the photo, the old photo file is deleted within two days at the latest (the same applies to files uploaded but not set). Photos uploaded by a person under preservation by an investigative agency are deleted after the preservation ends.

Groups deleted by their admin: the group's conversations (including subgroup conversations, photos, and notice lines), reactions, notices, polls, events and event responses, history, sub-titles, subgroups, dues charges and payment records, ledger (including receipt photos), and group photo are kept for 3 years from the day of deletion to prepare for disputes, reports, and requests under the law, and then deleted, and photo files are deleted with them on the day those records are deleted or the next day. If the person who deleted the group, or a person who left conversations, events, history, ledger entries, or dues charges in that group, is under preservation by an investigative agency, all of that group's records are deleted after the preservation ends, and the group photo is deleted after the preservation ends if the person who uploaded it is under preservation. While they are kept, the Company's operators can view them in the admin website (Section 1), and a record is made each time they are viewed (Section 8).

Usage records: kept for 90 days and then deleted; before deletion they are converted into daily totals that cannot identify anyone (the totals are kept without a set period).

Seller verification information: kept for 3 years from the day the last product was deleted (including deletion through account deletion). If the seller was verified again after that or never listed a product, the period is 3 years from the last verification. If it is under preservation for an investigative agency, it is deleted after that (for handling product transaction disputes, matching the 3-year retention period for records of consumer complaints and dispute handling in the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, 전자상거래법 시행령). The mobile phone number of a person who was permanently suspended and then deleted their account is also used during this period to block seller verification with the same number.

Restriction records (level, reason, period, the report relied on, and, if lifted, when and any memo): kept while you are a member, and deleted 3 years after the day you delete your account (for assessing repeat violations and handling disputes).

Sign-up block information: from the time of a permanent suspension, the Company keeps a value made by converting that sign-in account's identifier (Kakao member number, Apple identifier, or Google identifier) with a secret key only the Company holds (it cannot be converted back to the original), and deletes it 3 years after the day of account deletion. It is deleted immediately if the suspension is lifted. This value is linked to the remaining restriction records.

Preservation requests from investigative agencies: when an investigative agency requests preservation by official letter, the Company keeps the following without deleting them for that period (1 year by default, 3 years at most): account information at the time preservation is placed and, if the account is deleted during that period, immediately before deletion (the full profile, sign-in email and phone, sign-in method and information provided by the sign-in service, the IP address and device information of devices signed in at that time, and groups, connections, inquiries, spots, products, and photo album); records confirming the use and provision of location information (including coordinates); uploaded photo files; the earlier versions of spots, products, photo albums, profiles, group notices, polls, and history deleted or changed during that period; and connection requests (sent and received) deleted during that period. When the preservation period ends, these are destroyed without delay.

Records of preservation and provision requests from investigative agencies (requesting agency, official letter number, reason, and period): kept for 3 years from the day the request ended (to confirm provision).

Records of operators viewing and handling information (access records): kept for 2 years and then deleted (records of preservation and provision by investigative agencies are deleted together with that preservation record).

If you leave a group or are removed from it, your subgroup memberships in that group are deleted, and the position and sub-title assigned to you in that group are kept until you delete your account so they can be restored if you rejoin (a sub-title is not restored if it has been deleted from the group's list). Subgroup memberships are not restored when you rejoin.

Destroyed on account deletion: name (except the name kept in dues records), profile photo, date of birth, phone number, email, website, bio, profile photo album (including photo files), device token, spots, current location, locations sent to chat rooms (coordinates; the bubble stays as "Location removed"), meetup location sharing settings, personal events, poll history, group event responses, badges, group membership records (including positions, sub-titles, and subgroup memberships), connections, connection labels, connection invite links you created (records of your accepting others' invites are removed from those invites), your connection link and the connection requests you sent and received (including notes), products you listed (including photos), usage records (records you left and records of your card link being opened and your website being tapped), and inquiries you sent (questions, feature suggestions, and appeals) and their replies. The card link address is changed to a new value so the old link no longer opens.

What stays after account deletion: conversations you had (these are also the other person's records, including product cards sent in chat and reactions left in conversations, and the sender and the person who left a reaction are shown as "Deleted user"; notice lines announcing a spot stay without the spot name); group photos you set as an admin (they belong to the group); a group's dues charges and payment records and group ledger (income and expenses and receipt photos, with the person who entered them shown as "Deleted user") and the names written in those records (money paid is the group's money, so its source is kept; including unpaid and exempt records, only the name is kept after account deletion and other personal information is deleted; if you only leave a group, these stay as that group's records and remain visible to officers with your name, and dues records are kept while the group exists and deleted 3 years after the day the admin deletes the group); records of consent to the terms (type, version, and time, to confirm consent); report records (including copies of product reports, for handling disputes, 3 years; a report relied on for a restriction is kept until that record is deleted); seller verification information (the period in the paragraph above); restriction records (3 years after account deletion); sign-up block information (only after a permanent suspension, 3 years after account deletion); materials for the period an investigative agency requested preservation; records of operators viewing or handling your information (2 years) and records of investigative agency requests (3 years); records confirming the use and provision of location information (without coordinates, 6 months); and group notices, polls, history, and events you wrote, and meetup records.

Method of destruction: electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.

3. Information Visible to Other Users

Name, industry, profile photo, spots set to public (new spots are public by default and can be made private at any time), and date of birth (only the month and day are shown on app screens) are visible to members of the same group and to connections. Current location is visible only to participants in a confirmed meetup who have each turned on sharing and who are in the same group or are connections, and only during that meetup. A location a user sends directly to a chat room is visible to the participants in that chat room for 24 hours.

Responses to group events (going, maybe, can't go) are visible to members of that group with your name. If you leave the group, you drop off the list.

Group photos set by the group admin are visible to that group's members in the chat list, chat rooms, and group screens (they are not visible on invite link pages or card links). Photos are stored privately, so members can open only the one photo currently set (the uploader can open files they uploaded), and a person who leaves the group can no longer open it anew (a photo already opened may stay open for up to 1 hour).

In group and subgroup chat rooms, you see only the conversation from when you joined that room (if you leave and rejoin, from when you rejoined; one-to-one chats show everything). Photos shared in the room, however, are visible to the people in that room in the chat room's library, including those sent before they joined. A reply to a chat message is visible to the people in that chat room together with the opening part of the original message (only the type for photos and locations, and the name for products), and reactions left on messages (Check, Heart, Thumbs up, Sad) and the names of the people who left them are also visible to the people in that chat room. Reactions can be changed or removed while you are in that chat room, and reactions you left are not deleted even if you leave the group or delete your account (after account deletion they are shown as "Deleted user"). Reactions from people you have blocked, and the original message of a reply to their messages, are not shown to you.

A sub-title set by the group admin (for example, advisor or team lead) is shown after your name within that group and is visible to that group's members (it is not shown in other groups or on the card link). Subgroup membership and whether someone is a leader are visible to all members of the group, and conversations in a subgroup chat room are visible only to the people currently in that subgroup. People newly added to a subgroup see only the conversation from when they joined (photos shared in the room, including earlier ones, are visible in the library); people removed from a subgroup can no longer see that room's conversations (photos already open may keep opening for up to one hour); and when a subgroup is closed, the remaining people see only past conversations. Sub-titles and subgroup membership are set by the group admin. A subgroup leader (appointed by the admin) can add members of the group to their own subgroup, and can remove members who are not admins or leaders, or set those members' sub-titles. People are not notified separately when these are set, and can check them on the group screens.

Dues payment status (who paid and who is exempt) is visible to that group's officers (admin, president, treasurer, accountant) with names, and to all members of the group if the group admin widens visibility. Other members see only their own payment status. Payment instructions written by officers (such as group account details) are visible to all members of the group, and payment records of people who left the group or deleted their account stay visible to officers with their names as that group's accounting records.

The group ledger (income and expenses and receipt photos) is visible to that group's officers (admin, president, treasurer, accountant), and to all members of the group if the group admin widens visibility. When an officer posts a monthly settlement as a notice, that month's income and expense totals and totals by category are visible to all members of the group (individual memos and receipts are not posted). Receipt photos are stored privately and visible only to people who can see the ledger, and officers must cover other people's personal information if it appears in a receipt before uploading it. Where a dues payment was also entered in the ledger when confirmed, that entry's memo (the charge title and payer's name) is also visible to people who can see the ledger.

Members of the same group and connections can also see the profile card: bio, website, profile photo album, number summary (number of groups, completed meetups, and badges) and its details (names of the groups you belong to, the number of meetups completed each month, and badges received and when), phone number (public by default when newly entered; can be turned off at any time in profile editing), and email if set to public. People you met and places are not shown, and the names of the groups you belong to are not shown in the app to people you have blocked.

Products a user lists (name, price, category, whether used, description, photos, sale status, seller type, food business report status, and listing and edit times) are visible to members of the same group and connections, are not visible between people who have blocked each other, and do not appear on the card link. A product hidden following a report is visible only to the person who listed it until it is made visible again (the name and price on product cards already sent in chat stay in that conversation).

A business seller's seller information (business name, representative, place of business, phone number, email, business registration number, mail-order business report number) is visible to people who can see that product. The opening date and an individual seller's verified number and email are not visible to other users.

Card link: if a user gives someone their card link, anyone who has the link, even without being a Linku member, can see on the web their name, industry, profile photo, bio, website, profile photo album, number summary and its details (names of the groups they belong to, the number of meetups completed each month, and badges received and when), public phone number (public by default; can be turned off), and email if set to public (birthday, spots, location, and people met are not shown). The link address is random characters that cannot be guessed and is marked not to be listed by search engines, and the user can change to a new address at any time to block the old link (photos on a page already open may keep opening for up to one hour).

Connections: a person who opens your connection link can see the link owner's name (on the web, even without being a Linku member) and profile photo (in the app, after signing in). This name and photo remain visible to anyone who has the link even if the link owner blocks them, and once the address is changed to a new one, they are no longer visible through the old link. When someone sends a connection request, the link owner sees the sender's name, profile photo, and note through a notification and the list of received requests (if unanswered, the request disappears from the list after 30 days); if the link owner accepts, each can see the information above; and if the link owner declines, the requester receives a notification that it was declined (they can send a request again). For a one-time connection invite link already sent, a person who opens it while it has not yet been used (within 7 days) can also see the name of the person who invited them (on the web) and profile photo (in the app), and on accepting, each can see the information above. Connection label names and who is in which label are visible only to their creator. Your connections cannot see each other unless they are connections of each other or in the same group.

When you join a group, a notice with your name stays in that chat room and the admin receives a notification. When you newly make a spot public or move a public spot more than 50 m, a notice with your name stays in the chat rooms of all groups you belong to (not subgroup chat rooms) (coordinates are not included, and the spot name is visible only while that spot is public). When you form a connection, a one-to-one chat room is created for the two of you and the other person receives a notification (the person who invited you if connected through an invite link, or the person who sent the request if connected through a connection request). Those notice lines stay in the conversation history even if you leave the group or delete your account.

Joining a group and forming a connection are done by users themselves through invite links or connection requests (a connection request forms a connection only when the recipient accepts it, and subgroup membership is set by the group admin and subgroup leaders), and leaving the group or removing the connection ends visibility (a card link, and the name and photo on a connection link, stay visible to anyone who has the link even after leaving a group, removing a connection, or blocking someone, and changing to a new address blocks them).

4. Provision to Third Parties

Apart from the sharing between users in Section 3 and card links users hand over themselves, personal information is not provided to third parties. However, when verifying a business seller, the business registration number, representative's name, and opening date are sent to the National Tax Service business registration verification service. Lawful requests by investigative agencies and others under the law are an exception.

If an investigative agency makes a request through a procedure under the law, such as a warrant, the Company provides that user's account information, messages sent by that user (including the originals of hidden messages) and photos uploaded by them, records confirming the use and provision of location information (including coordinates), and report, restriction, and inquiry records, and records the requesting agency, official letter number, and date and time of provision each time. Messages sent by other users and the notes in connection requests sent by other users are not provided.

If a product transaction dispute arises and a consumer dispute mediation body or a court so requests, the Company provides, under Article 20-4 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률), seller verification information (for businesses, business name, representative, address, opening date, phone, email, business registration number, mail-order business report number, and the National Tax Service verification result; for individuals, the verified phone number, sign-in email, and time verified), that seller's current products, and the one-to-one conversation between the two parties (photos as file locations only, locations without coordinates), and records the requesting body, official letter number, and date and time of provision. An individual seller's phone number and email are not provided at a buyer's own request.

5. Entrusted Processing and Transfers Abroad

To operate the Service, we entrust processing to the companies below.

· Supabase Pte. Ltd. — database, file storage, and sign-in processing (including operator sign-in and two-factor authentication) (data stored in the Seoul region, Republic of Korea; operating company in Singapore)

· Railway Corporation — server operation (chat, notifications, and meetup features, and the operators' admin website) (servers in Singapore; operated mainly in the United States)

· Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) — sending push notifications (device tokens and notification text) (United States)

· Kakao — sign-in, map display and place search and address lookup (coordinates are passed to draw the map and find addresses and area names, and search terms are passed when searching for places. Coordinates outside the Republic of Korea may also be passed when the overseas map is unavailable or if the app or you move the Kakao map outside the Republic of Korea) (Republic of Korea)

· Apple Inc. — Apple account sign-in (United States)

· Google LLC — Google account sign-in, and passing on the Google Play install referrer (when you go from an invite page to Google Play, an invite marker (a link identifier; no name or contact details are included) is carried in the Play address and passed on, and the installed app receives that value from Google Play and takes you to that invite) (United States)

· Anthropic, PBC — automatic receipt reading (only when a group officer turns on [Autofill from photo] in ledger entry and chooses a receipt photo, that one photo is sent and used to read the amount, date, merchant, and category. Linku only fills the input fields with the values read and does not store them separately, and group and user information is not sent with it. The vendor states that it does not use the content sent to train models, and keeps it for a set period for safety review (up to 30 days under its current notice) and then deletes it. However, content flagged as violating the vendor's usage policy may be kept for up to 2 years under the vendor's standards) (United States)

· Anthropic, PBC — summarizing inquiries and feature suggestions (when the Company reviews inquiries and feature suggestions each week, their content (title and body, without sender information) is sent and used for summaries) (United States)

· Stadia Maps, Inc. — map display and place search and address lookup outside the Republic of Korea. When the map shows somewhere outside the Republic of Korea (when your location or a person, spot, or meetup place to be shown on the map is outside the Republic of Korea, when you choose the world map, or when a received location or the place you are choosing is outside the Republic of Korea), your device requests this directly from the vendor without going through the Company's servers. That area and your IP address are passed when map tiles for the area you are viewing are fetched; the search terms you enter and the coordinates of the map center are passed when you search for a place; and the coordinates or place identifier are passed when you choose a point on the map or a search result, or when the chat room location-sending screen looks up the address of your current location. Coordinates inside the Republic of Korea are not sent for address lookup or as a search reference point, and the Republic of Korea is shown on Kakao maps. However, when the overseas map shows the Republic of Korea (because you move it there, it fits a chosen person together with your location, or it moves to your location), map tiles for that area are fetched from this vendor. Linku account information such as your name is not sent with these requests. Data is passed over encrypted connections (HTTPS) while you use the Service, and the vendor keeps request logs for about 7 to 14 days (under its current notice; longer if security or legal duties require). Contact: legal@stadiamaps.com, 1690 Watertower Place Ste 100 #216, East Lansing, MI 48823, USA (United States, and the countries of its sub-processors; server hosting may be anywhere in the world)

· Solapi Co., Ltd. (솔라피 주식회사) — sending seller verification text messages (number and verification message) (Republic of Korea)

Items above are transferred to overseas entrusted companies over encrypted connections (HTTPS) each time you use the Service, to the extent needed to provide it. Those companies keep them for the period stated above, or until the purpose of the entrustment is completed where no period is stated (deleted under each company's standards when the entrustment ends). Privacy contacts: Supabase Pte. Ltd., privacy@supabase.com; Railway Corporation, privacy@railway.com; 650 Industries, Inc. (Expo), expo.dev/contact; Anthropic, PBC, privacy@anthropic.com; Stadia Maps, Inc., legal@stadiamaps.com; Apple Inc., apple.com/kr/privacy/contact; Google LLC, googlekrsupport@google.com. You can ask us to stop a transfer at contact@sikorea.it (use of the Service may be limited if you do).

Directions: when you press a directions button in the app, your device opens an external map service. If the destination is inside the Republic of Korea, KakaoMap opens and receives the coordinates and the destination address (coordinates only for meetup places); if it is outside the Republic of Korea, Google Maps by Google LLC (United States) opens and receives the coordinates only. This happens only when you press the button and does not go through the Company's servers, and what happens next is governed by that service's privacy policy.

6. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

On the profile screen you can at any time view and change your name, industry, profile photo, card information (phone number, email, website, bio, photo album), and whether your phone number and email are public, and change your card link to a new address.

Spots can be made public or private or deleted, location sharing for meetups can be turned off at any time, a location sent to a chat room can be deleted by long-pressing it, and turning off the device's location permission stops collection of your current location.

Connections can be removed at any time on the "My connections" screen, connection labels can be edited or deleted, received connection requests can be accepted or declined, and your connection link can be changed to a new address. Reactions left on chat messages can be changed or removed while you are in that chat room (reactions you left are not deleted even if you leave the group or delete your account).

Your products can be edited or deleted under "My products" on your profile (they cannot be deleted while hidden following a report).

On the notification settings screen you can choose to receive or not receive each type of notification. Operational notices such as inquiry replies and restriction notices cannot be turned off.

Deleting your account on the profile screen destroys information as described in Section 2 above.

Even while use is suspended, you can file an appeal, view replies to inquiries, and delete your account (if you are an admin of a group, please tell us through an appeal before deleting your account).

Requests to view, correct, delete, or stop processing can be made in the app or at contact@sikorea.it, and the Company replies within 10 days. Requests through an agent require a power of attorney.

7. Children Under 14

Anyone under the age of 14 (만 14세) may not sign up. Age is checked from the date of birth during sign-up, and if a person is found to be under 14, any account created up to that point is deleted.

8. Security Measures

Access control on the database (row-level access control); encryption in transit (HTTPS); chats (including replies and reactions), photos, reports, blocks, connection links and connection requests, spot announcement records, usage records, seller verification information, and restriction records accessible only by the server; chat, history, profile photo album, product, and group photos kept in private storage and shown through addresses that open for one hour only to people with permission; minimizing personal information handlers (only people on the operator list can enter the admin website, through two-factor authentication, and must authenticate again after 12 hours); keeping, for 2 years and in a form that cannot be altered, a record of who viewed whose what, when, and from where (IP address) each time an operator views personal information in the admin website; and not showing personal information if the record cannot be made.

9. App Permissions

Location (showing your location on the map, showing it to participants when you turn on location sharing for a meetup, and when sending a location to a chat room; only while using the app), photos and camera (profile photo, photo album, history, and chat photos), photos (product photos and group photos; chosen from the photo library only), and notifications. When changing this Policy, the Company gives notice in the app of what is changing and the effective date from 7 days before the effective date, and from 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users, with a separate notification as well. From the effective date, you must agree to the changes to keep using the Service. This Policy takes effect on November 16, 2026.

The parts of this Policy on the overseas map (Stadia Maps) and Google Maps directions apply from the day the overseas map is provided.

13. Information by Region

This section also applies to users who live outside the Republic of Korea. Linku is operated by a company in the Republic of Korea. Your personal information is processed in the countries listed in Section 5 (mainly the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and the United States), and courts and authorities in those countries may access it under their local laws.

We do not sell personal information. You can use the rights in Section 6 in the same way wherever you live, and you may also complain to the regulator in your country.

United States: The information we collect and why is in Section 1, the categories of parties we share it with are in Sections 3, 4, and 5, and how we make changes and the effective date are in Section 12. The app stores precise location on our servers only for meetup location sharing, locations you send to chat rooms, spots you save, and places you choose for meetup proposals (the first two are also kept in the records under Article 5 of the Location-Based Services Terms, and when a meetup is confirmed, its place is also saved to the participants' calendar events). The app does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals, and we do not track you across other sites. U.S. residents can ask to view, correct, or delete their information in the way described in Section 6.

Regulators where you live: Australia, OAIC (oaic.gov.au); New Zealand, Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz); Singapore, PDPC (pdpc.gov.sg).
